I build data pipelines, productionize ML models, and implement MLOps on Azure Databricks — taking forecasting solutions from development through to reliable use in production. My work focuses on making models maintainable, repeatable, and ready for operational decision-making across the organization.

Alliander (2020–2023)

As senior data engineer and data scientist in an agile scrum team, I delivered multiple production data applications for Alliander’s energy network. I owned the full lifecycle: data preparation, ML model development, application development, and deployment to production.

I deployed and operated solutions on AWS, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. For data processing and model development, I used pandas and Docker to package and deploy application components. My work focused on building data applications that integrated ML models into usable software for the business, working closely with engineers and domain experts to translate network challenges into reliable, data-driven solutions.

Schiphol (2018-2020)

As data scientist and machine learning engineer at Schiphol, I developed forecasting models to improve insight into passenger flow across the airport, working with large volumes of operational data in Python using libraries such as pandas.

I owned the path from model development to production, including MLOps practices to make models reliable and maintainable in day-to-day operations. I used MLflow for experiment tracking, model versioning, and managing the transition from development to production, and worked with the team to deploy and operationalize models so they could support operational decision-making.

Alliander (2014-2018)

As lead data scientist, I developed, implemented, and maintained advanced analytics models, translating business goals into model requirements. I coached junior data scientists and presented results and model guidance to stakeholders.

Working in agile scrum teams with large-scale and big data datasets, I applied machine learning and statistical methods using Python tools such as pandas, alongside analytics to solve business problems and improve processes. I also contributed to the professionalization of analytics capabilities across Alliander.

This role laid the foundation for my later move into building and operating ML applications in production.
